Justice Lewis F. Powell

January 29, 2014, The Lewis F. Powell, Jr., American Inn of Court, named in memory of Justice Lewis F. Powell, Jr., held a special meeting, attended by over 53 lawyers and law students from the University of Richmond Law School.  Jay Ipson presented the story of his family’s survival during and after the Holocaust, relating how his father, Israel Ipson, lost his rights as a lawyer.  Then, they viewed the “Lawyers Without Rights” Exhibit.  W. Clark Williams, Jr., Associate Dean and Professor of Law from the University of Richmond School of Law, arranged for the evening law students to attend.  Participants expressed appreciation for the presentation and exhibit.
